Revolution Teen Ministry

It is crucial that the Body of Christ equips today's youth with the tools they need in order to live a Godly life. When Whitney Houston sang "I believe the children are our future", she was dead-on. Our youth is the future. One day our teenagers will be our doctors, lawyers, presidents, etc. Kinda scary, huh? Furthermore, they will be our missionaries, worship-leaders, and pastors. They will eventually be in charge of reaching other for Christ. With that said, we must equip them to be able to handle those jobs the best way possible. The best way to do that is to teach them to be Christ-like in everything they do.

Our youth pastor, Jonathan Blackmon has developed a program that does just that.

On Sunday mornings, the Teens stay in the main service with the adults. Pastor Steve's messages are just as relative for them as they are for the adults.

On Sunday evenings at 6pm, the Teens meet for their own personal Growth Group. During the Growth Group they experience awesome music, games, team building, a great message by Jonathan AND they eat.  The Growth Group has a different series that runs for 13 weeks. All of the activities are themed around the current series.

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, we have another awesome service for teens that will help them be bold for Christ. This service is more message-centered. While there is music and games, Pastor Jonathan takes the majority of the service to really dig deep and provide a relative message that will challenge your teen to live a Christ-like life.

The teens have their very own room they meet in for every teen service called the Revolution room. This room is designed just for teenagers. It is equipped with flat screens, video games, foosball table, and a stage will a full sound system.

Throughout the year, the teenagers at Hope enjoy many fun activities that help them build relationships with each other and help them develop their relationship with God. Every summer and winter they go to Youth Camp. They enjoy events like rafting trips and roller skating and trips to other fun places. The teens also do their own outreach projects where they take what they've learned at Hope and share it with other people in the community.

We'd love to have your teen be a part of us. For more information about what great things the teens can get involved in, check out the side bar.
