What should I expect in church?
You should expect to be accepted and welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Expect to experience some awesome music lead by our worship team (check some out here). The music at our church is mostly contemporary. You are free to sing and clap with us or do whatever makes you comfortable. Expect to see creative videos, dramas, and special insightful and relevant messages from Pastor Steve that will offer practical advice, sound knowledge, spiritual guidance, strength and encouragement for daily living.
What about my kids?
We have a special service just for your kids that is led by our amazing Children’s Pastor, Jamie. Here, your children will learn about Jesus through exciting music, fun games, and a message designed just for kids. Your kids will never want to leave!
What about my teenager?
Our Sunday sermons are just as relevant for teenagers as they are for adults. The teenagers stay in the main service on Sunday.
What about my baby?
We even have a place for your baby! We have a nursery that is open every time there is a service. Our Nursery Director, Becky, and other volunteers who LOVE babies, will do an amazing job, safely keeping your baby, while you enjoy the service.
What do I wear?
There is no dress code. Just dress comfortably. Some people dress up, others dress down. Either one is fine. We believe that God cares more about the condition of our hearts, than the clothes on our backs.
What other stuff happens during the week?
On Sunday nights at 6:00pm we have Growth Groups. Click here for a list of our Growth Groups.
On Wednesday nights at 6:30pm, we have our weekly prayer service, called Prayer Matters. This is a unique service we have just started. If you have anything you need to pray about, you can come this night and we will pray with you. Like our main service, it is open to anyone who wants to come, even non-members.
We also have a service for our Teenagers (Revolution) and Children (AWANAS) on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. Both of these programs are geared for these specific age groups.
The teenagers meet in the Revolution room, which is a room designed specifically for a “teenish” environment. It is equipped two huge flat screens, video games and foosball (for before and after the service) and a stage with a complete sound system. The service is led by our awesome youth pastor, Jonathan Blackmon and the youth workers. This is a group of adults who relate well to our youth and all have a passion to see your teenager grow in Christ.
AWANAS meets in the Hope Center at 6:30pm on Wednesdays. Here, your children will learn the Gospel in the most fun ways possible. They will enjoy games, crafts, and other activities that will help disciple them.
Anything else I should know?
We have lots of other cool things to get involved with that could help you get more connected to the church such as: Married Life, a group of married couples who meet, eat, fellowship and apply God's Word to create stronger marriages; The Women of Hope Bible Study, a group of ladies who connect with each other weekly through Bible study; and Chariots of Fire, a group of motorcycle enthusuiasts who break out the bikes and ride for good causes or just for fun. We even have a Fun with Guns group that meets to shoot skeet. There’s bound to be something you can get involved with! For a better list, click here.
