Why Us?

Let’s cut to the chase. There are a bajillion churches you could pick from. What makes us so great?
  1.
We absolutely, unequivocally LOVE God. It’s true. We are hopelessly in love with our God and all He’s done for us. So in love with Him that our whole church is based on His truth. How cool is that?

  2.
We LOVE people. Many people have been “burned” by the church. It  may  be because they weren’t exactly accepted,  or felt more condemned than loved. We are here to tell you that that is not going to happen at Hope. Our motto is that we are a place of Love, Acceptance, and Forgiveness and we practice that consistently. Our job is not make you feel like junk about your life, but rather to encourage you and lift you up. We all mess up, we all have our drama. That’s what grace is for. We are here to grow together, not tear each other apart. Truth is, we need each other. This world can be kind of scary, and it’s nice to know that someone is always going to be there. We’re going to love you and accept you, no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

  3.
We are REAL. That’s right, my friend, we are the real deal. We are authentic in what we say and believe. We say what we mean, and mean what we say. We practice what we preach. We walk the walk. We...well, you get what we mean.

  4.
We’re Relative. It’s important that we relate to what’s going on in your life. We take the Bible and use what it says to give answers to the stuff we are all going through. We use different types of videos, skits, and music that you’d even enjoy outside of church to connect with you. Pastor Steve’s messages are geared for your understanding and are easy to apply to your everyday life.

  5.
The church down the street is not our competition. Unfortunately, many churches compete against each other, rather than compete against the real opponent, the world. We understand that as Christians, we are the Body of Christ. That means all body parts have to work together in order to work successfully. Our church may not be your style and that’s OK. If it’s not, we still want you to be plugged in somewhere and we will help you with that.

  6. We have a ridiculous amount of activities you can be involved in.
We are an all-week church. By that we don’t mean we have church every day (although that’d be the coolest thing since sliced bread). We mean that there is always something going on that you can get involved with and actually enjoy. We have tons of groups that meet and do fun things together. Click here for a list of those things. Prepare to be amazed. : )
